Here, you will find everything you need to determine your bespoke sizes and apply your nails for a flawless, lasting finish.

Determining Your Bespoke Size

Sizing Measurement

How to Measure Your Nails:

  1. Prepare: Place your hand flat on a table. Using a piece of clear tape, press it firmly across the widest part of your nail bed.

  2. Mark: Use a fine-point marker to mark the two widest points of your nail on the tape.

  3. Measure: Carefully remove the tape and lay it flat on a ruler or measuring tape. Measure the distance between your two marks in millimeters (mm).

  4. Record & Convert: Record the millimeter measurement for all ten nails and use the size chart above to convert your mm measurement into your nail size.


    *Please be aware that this method requires great precision. The Capsule is not responsible for incorrect sizing if you choose to measure manually.

Essential Preparation
(The Most Important Step)

Proper preparation is the key to a long-lasting, salon-quality manicure. This step is essential for both glue and adhesive tab application.

  1. Shape & Tidy: Gently push back your cuticles using the provided wooden stick. File or trim your natural nails if desired.

  2. Buff the Surface: Lightly buff the entire surface of each natural nail with a buffer. This removes the shine and creates a texture for the adhesive to grip onto.

  3. Cleanse Thoroughly: Cleanse each nail with the provided alcohol prep pad to remove any dust and natural oils. Your nails must be completely dry before application.

Application - Nail Glue

  1. Apply Glue: Apply a thin, even layer of glue to your entire natural nail. Additionally, apply a small dot of glue to the back of The Capsule nail.

  2. Align & Press: Align the press-on nail with your cuticle at a 45-degree angle and press it down firmly. This angle helps to avoid air bubbles.

  3. Hold Securely: Hold the nail in place with firm pressure for 20-30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.

  4. Allow to Set: Avoid contact with water for at least one hour after application to allow the glue to cure completely.

Application - Adhesive Tabs

  1. Select Tab: Choose an adhesive tab that is slightly smaller than your nail.

  2. Apply Tab: Apply the adhesive tab to your natural nail, pressing it down firmly to remove any air bubbles.

  3. Reveal Adhesive: Peel off the protective film.

  4. Align & Press: Align the press-on nail with your cuticle and press down firmly, holding for 20-30 seconds.

Safe Removal & Aftercare

Proper removal is crucial for protecting your natural nails.

The Removal Process:

  1. Soak: Submerge your fingertips in a bowl of warm, soapy water for 10-15 minutes. This will help to soften the adhesive.

  2. Gently Lift: Use the slanted edge of your wooden cuticle stick to gently pry and lift the edges of the press-on nail from the sides. If you feel any resistance, soak for a few more minutes.

  3. NEVER Force or Pull: Forcing a nail off can cause damage to your natural nail. Patience is key.

  4. Clean Up: Once the nails are removed, you can gently buff off any remaining glue residue from your natural nails.
